Workshop

“Inner sculpture” of clay

Inner sculpture” of clay

This workshop will invite us to touch the earth, and let us be touched by it, both as the world we embody in and it’s up to us to live in and preserve; as the inner earth, body and psyche, which we must ever more assume and open to the larger; and as a figure of the other human, bearer, as well as nature and us, of a story, of riches, of limits, of spiritual depth – of sacredness and vulnerability, and of its own laws , to discover and respect …

The work of the material will thus be the occasion, by the inner listening of the resonances to his contact, to each gesture and the forms which are born, to deepen our reliance, to welcome and to transform the attitudes and memories which the hinder, and rely on the allies who present themselves on this path of union and unity.

No prior practice of sculpture or modeling is required, technical knowledge is provided as and when needed.

Lecture

The “inner sculpture”, a reliance path

Beyond the works produced, sculpting clay, stone, wood, can be a place to transform the way we perceive nature as ourselves and others, and learn a more fertile form of dialogue. The sensory, spiritual, symbolic, emotional opening to the natural matter and the history it carries, the commitment of the active and sensitive body and all our faculties subordinated to the deep heart, listening to our resonances to his contact, with each gesture, become at once external and intimate, and with the forms that are born, make of his work the occasion of deepening our incarnation, and the experience of the Being which transfigures it, and give it a value alchemical.

At the crossroads of spiritual practices of bodily presence, arts and crafts sacred since the Neolithic and art therapy, the “interior sculpture” is addressed to all ages and backgrounds, in varying degrees of introspection, also giving the opportunity to live respect for human diversity, and to nurture a new attitude of being, beyond the circles most aware of the personal and collective issues of transition.

Round table

What are transpersonal arts therapies?

Moderation: Muriel Rojas-Zamudio

How would you define transpersonal arts therapies? Would you say it is a set of methods or a global posture? How would these differ from others arts therapies approaches or artistic expressions? How do you practice, and with what benefits for your clients or yourself?
