Transhumanism and Transpersonal Psychology: the quest for salvation, meaning and transcendence

Transhumanism and Transpersonal Psychology, each in their own way respond to our human quest for salvation, meaning and transcendence. What visions and concrete solutions do they provide in a world that seems to be spiraling out of control? How do we, the transpersonal community harness the inherent meanings and potentials of these movements toward our noble quest of accompanying our clients on their journey of healing and self-realization?

This lecture will explore the meaning of the emergent subculture of transhumanism and its relevance to transpersonal psychology.
