Finding Refuge and Inspiration in Our Deeper Spiritual Ground

As we respond to the seemingly endless crises that confront us in these transitional times, we risk losing sight of the spiritual ground out of which our concern and compassion arise. Each of us has within us a deep inner knowing of the love and light that lie often hidden, in our own hearts and at the heart of reality—call it spirit, essence, Christ consciousness, Buddha nature, consciousness, awakened awareness. This deep inner knowing inspires and informs our activism, but if we become too embroiled in disheartening stories of catastrophe and devastation, we may lose our connection with spirit. Through teachings, guided meditation, and inquiry, we will refresh our connection with our essential human nature, our deeper spiritual ground.
